Florida limited-scope representation
Unbundled Legal Services in Florida
Affordable legal help when you do not need full representation. You choose the services. You control the cost. Use attorney time only when you need it.
Pay Only for the Legal Help You Need
Many legal matters do not require hiring an attorney to handle every aspect of your case. With unbundled legal services, also called limited scope representation, you decide how much legal assistance you need and pay only for those services.
Whether you need help reviewing documents, preparing court forms, developing a strategy, or appearing at a single hearing, you can retain an attorney for just that portion of your case.
Flexible, Affordable Pricing
Most unbundled legal services are available on a flat-fee basis, with fees typically ranging from $100 to $750, depending on the complexity and time required.
For work that does not fit a flat-fee structure, services are available at $300 per hour, with a one-hour minimum.
Sliding-scale fees may be available in appropriate cases based on financial need and the nature of the legal matter.
Rather than paying a large retainer for full representation, you can use attorney time only when you need it. Purchase an hour for legal advice today, return later for document review, or schedule assistance before an important hearing.

Beginning at $300
Whether you need legal advice, document review, assistance preparing court forms, or help completing your uncontested divorce, you decide how much legal assistance you need.
Enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing your documents have been prepared or reviewed by a licensed Florida attorney who can answer your questions, identify potential issues before they become problems, and help you avoid costly mistakes.
How Limited Scope Representation Works
Florida permits limited scope representation under Rule 4-1.2(c) of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar. Before work begins, you and your attorney sign a written agreement clearly defining the services to be provided.
You remain responsible for any portions of your case outside the agreed scope, including deadlines, filings, and court appearances unless the written agreement says otherwise.
Is This Right for You?
Unbundled legal services may be a good option if you need professional guidance without the cost of full representation, want an attorney to review your work, need help preparing for mediation or a hearing, want representation at one specific proceeding, or prefer to control your legal costs.
